via XLR8R - Brooklyn synthesizer maestro Chrome Canyon has just released his DIY video for "Branches," a tune lifted off his forthcoming Elemental Themes LP. The video—which was shot, edited, and directed by the man himself—features a dream-like sequence of time-lapsed clouds moving rapidly across a purple sky (the effect was apparently inspired by the seminal 1982 film Koyaanisqatsi). The images pair well with Chrome Canyon's overtly cinematic, '80s-inspired tune, one that is clearly more futuristic than its title implies.
